From Diplomat to Chief Wellness Advisor
The Structured Beginning
My journey didn't begin on a yoga mat. It began in the world of diplomacy. For many years I was the woman who excelled.
The one who studies.
The one that succeeds.
The one who represented.
With a degree in International Studies, a Master’s in International Trade, and a Career as a Diplomat, my life was defined by the title, the prestige, and the path. But while my life had a clear direction, my spirit was standing still. I realized that "success" didn't mean much if I felt incomplete inside.
The Choice That Changed Everything
A single work trip shifted my entire horizon. In the middle of a world built on policy and protocol, I met the man who would become my husband. In that moment, I stood at a crossroads and made a radical choice: I chose love. I chose family. I chose to walk away from the prestigious career I had so carefully constructed to embrace the beautiful unknown. That was my first great reinvention
Our journey took us from living in three different U.S. states to eventually settling in Italy. With every new border crossed, I shed a layer of my old self. Changing languages and cultures forces a brutal, beautiful honesty; without the titles, the positions, or the professional identity, I was finally forced to look in the mirror and ask: Who am I when I am simply me?
When the Body Stops, the Soul Speaks
I was always disciplined with my body. Sport, training, gyms, bicycling. But a small injury stopped me for a while. And when the body stops, the soul begins to speak.
I started practicing yoga in 2012 looking to stay fit. But I found something I didn't know I was looking for. Beyond the sweat and the poses, I found a profound silence. I found my breath. I found a truth that no title could ever provide.
Returning to the Source
Driven by a need to touch the essence of the practice, I followed the call back to the source: Mysore, India. My education shifted from modern studios and gyms to the historic floors of the K. Pattabhi Jois Shala, where I immersed myself in the tradition of Ashtanga under the watchful eye of Saraswathi Jois. Since that first journey, I have returned to India repeatedly, spending years diving into the deep philosophy at the feet of Master BNS Iyengar and other teachers.
My path wasn’t a straight line, it was a deep dive.
But the most important thing were not the certifications. I realized that yoga wasn't just a practice, it was the bridge to the identity I had been searching for. It was an encounter with myself.
In India I understood that yoga is not only to do a posture or about flexibility.
It is a reinvention.
It's honesty.
It is looking at your shadows without running away.
It is learning to breathe when life is tight.
In India, my purpose shifted. I expanded my study beyond the mat, discovering that Yoga is a vast ecosystem of wisdom. I studied Ayurveda to understand the body’s rhythm and Pranayama to master the life force within. I explored meditation, mudras, and philosophy, learning to navigate the landscape of my own energy. Through this, I discovered this wasn't just education, it was a total immersion in energy healing and the sacred art of emotional and physical cleansing, emotional clarity, and a discipline.
The Awakening of the Woman
Over time, something became clear:
Women over 40 are not lost.
They are awakening.
They are waking up from years of prioritizing everyone else.
From holding families together.
From silencing their own needs.
From surviving rather than truly living.
I know this because I walked through it myself.
The Birth of The Artemis Method
That realization gave birth to The Artemis Method. Artemis represents the woman who chooses herself.
The woman who enters her inner forest and returns with clarity.
The woman who no longer seeks approval, but alignment.
The woman who learns to stand from within.
Today, I guide women navigating hormonal transitions, deep stress, silent sadness, or a sense of emptiness toward reconnection with their inner strength.
I do not promise a perfect life.
I promise a more conscious woman.
Because reinventing yourself is not about becoming someone new.
It is about returning to who you truly are.
And I am here to walk that path with you.

The term "Ashtanga" translates to "eight limbs" in Sanskrit, referring to the eightfold path outlined by the sage Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras, which serves as a framework for yogic practices. These eight limbs include:
1. Yama (moral restraints)
2. Niyama (ethical observances)
3. Asana (physical postures)
4. Pranayama (breath control)
5. Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses)
6. Dharana (concentration)
7. Dhyana (meditation)
8. Samadhi (state of complete absorption)
